Pack Gummetal wires

The pack contains 5 archwires. The Gummetal® alloy was developed in 2003 at the Metallurgy Research Section of Toyota Central R & D Labs., Inc., in Japan. This titanium alloy has a body-centered cubic beta crystalline structure. It is an alloy of Titanium (Ti), Niobium (Nb), Tantalum (Ta), and Zirconium (Zr). All these elements are in groups IV a and V a in the periodic table of the elements. The chemical composition of Gum Metal (Ti-36Nb-2Ta-3Zr-0.3O) was chosen based on density functional theory.
