The device does not require laboratory adaptation; it includes parts for direct bonding via the palatal tube, eliminating the need for welding. It includes two screw-retaining washers for palatal anchorage. The function of these two components is to hold the entire device in the desired position; therefore, it is not essential for them to be in direct contact with the mucosa, although minimal clearance is recommended to facilitate patient hygiene. The maximum screw diameter for the central part is 2.5mm. If button-head screws are used, the head itself will provide the device's retention. It is compatible with any screw system; if the desired retention is not achieved, composite or cement can be added for a stronger fix. It is recommended to use screws with a diameter of 2.0/2.5mm and a head wider than the active part.
